News co-op NewScoop YYC will host a May 16 Zoom event exploring The Abundant Communities Model of neighborhood development. Entitled “What’s New in the Neighbourhood?” the event features Asset-Based Community Development co-founder John McKnight and co-founder of the Asset-Based Neighbourhood Organizing Association Howard Lawrence. Early adopters will be sharing about how this radical idea is gaining traction all over North America.

Through the online Zoom platform participants can see and hear guests and break into small groups. Taking place on Tuesday, May 16, from 12-1 p.m. MST, participants can register early for $10 per session.
