Parker J Palmer, a world-renowned writer, speaker and activist, will join John McKnight and Peter Block in a free conversation Monday, April 10 at 2 p.m. ET. The call will explore Parker’s thoughts on how “aging as an asset” relates to community development.

After hearing from Parker, the half-hour call will look at how experiences working with citizens to build asset-based communities can be translated into your own work. Participants on the call will have the opportunity to share their questions and insights.

Parker’s work focuses on issues in education, community, leadership, spirituality and social change. He has authored several best-selling and award-winning books and is the founder of the Center for Courage and Renewal.
