DeAmon Harges’ work as a community organizer is featured in a new film, The Antidote, that shares stories of people who embrace kindness as a year-round calling. Harges, a staff member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, is known as a “roving listener” in his community bringing out the gifts and talents of neighbors. He started the Biker Boyz and Girlz Bike Shop of the Learning Tree, where youth learn to fix donated bikes.

The Dec. 20, 2020 broadcast of CBS Sunday Morning show featured Harges and the Antidote: The Bike Shop on CBS Sunday Morning – The Learning Tree (thelearningtrees.com)
